Bath Bomb Box
$10.00 / Sold Out
Looking for a small gift or a nice way to treat yourself? This sleek window box holds 3 individually wrapped bath bombs, good for one bath each. They weigh 3.5-4 ounces each and fizz for approximately 4 minutes, depending on water softness and temperature. They are made with skin softening ingredients including Kaolin Clay, Cocoa Butter and Apricot Kernel Oil. In a variety of colors and scents, they change your mood as well as the color of the water in your tub. They are created with water soluble FD&C certified colors, specifically for the use in bath bombs - So they should not dye your skin or your tub. Because who wants to ruin a relaxing soak with having to clean?
These bombs also contain a bubbling agent similar to an ingredient in commercial bubble bath. It's a naturally derived bubbling agent, less potent but less likely to cause irritation. So if you run the tub while it's fizzing, you'll get more bubbles for your tub. This will cause it to fizz and dissolve faster, but the soaking effects on your skin will be the same. If you prefer baths that aren't bubbly, add the bath bomb after your tub is already full.
The scents available here will be rotating, so check back for in-stock scents, or Contact Us to request a batch made in a specific fragrance. There may be minimum order requirements for custom orders. There's also a Random Box option, where you will receive 3 different randomly selected bath bombs from our in-stock options. It is possible to receive brand new scents in the random box, so they may not even be listed for sale anywhere else on the page!
Ingredients: Sodium Bicarbonate, Citric Acid, Sodium Lauryl Sulfoacetate (SLSa), Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate (SCI), Cream of Tartar, Kaolin Clay, Polysorbate 80, Fragrance, Apricot Kernel Oil, Cocoa Butter, Isopropyl Alcohol, and combinations of FD&C water solubles dyes. Dyes used are Blue#1, Yellow#5 and Red#40 in different ratios to create each color.
About the use of SLSa and SCI: Both of these ingredients are plant based, and are NOT in the same class as SLS (Sodium Laurel Sulfate), a well known skin irritant. While sounding similar, they are in fact very different. SLSa is palm and coconut oil derived, and has a molecule structure that prevents it from being absorbed by the skin; which makes it much more mild on delicate skin. SCI is coconut derived, and is also a mild surfactant, creating bubbles and helping water mix with dirt and grime, which helps you feel clean after your bath.
**While we choose to use mild, plant derived surfactants in our bombs, they may still irritate some skin types. We aim for this to not happen, but please use caution when using our (and any) bath bombs. Always take care of you!**
